Our Mission

Our Dedication to Health Equity
Our mission is to identify health service gaps within the community and collaboratively develop innovative solutions to address them as well as strengthening the community. Creating interventions to address those issues by awareness and facilitating access to vital medical coverage and supplies amongst community members in Chinatown International District (CID) of Seattle, Washington. The International District Chinatown is a community that has a significant portion of residents, primarily aged over 65, face language barriers, relying on Cantonese or Mandarin rather than English, living in low-income housing and depending on government aid. Many that lack education, are unable to afford essentials like air filters, and face exclusion from policy changes, amplifying their marginalized status and silencing their voices in the community.
Meet the Board of Director
We are a family of pre-medical and pre-dental students, bound by a shared mission to make a difference. Inspired by our community-driven ethos, we've come together to identify healthcare gaps in Seattle's Chinatown International District.
